In another look at Devils prospects around the globe, once again (we're becoming repetitive!) Yegor Sharangovich is making his mark in the KHL, performing with the best of the best. Meanwhile, the NCAA season for a couple of Devils prospects got underway over the weekend, where Aarne Talvitie shined for Penn State.

UNITED STATES

Patrick Moynihan
Moynihan started his second season playing in the NCAA with Providence College. His season began on November 28th and he has played two games, held without a point.
Moynihan will soon leave his NCAA team to join USA Hockey's World Junior camp.
Tyce Thompson
Moynihan's teammate and fellow Devils draft pick, Tyce Thompson was also held without a point in the opening two games this week. It was a difficult weekend for Providence who lost 9-0 to Boston University on Saturday.
Aarne Talvitie
Aarne Talvitie has had quite a start to his season with Penn State in the NCAA. He had put up just one point, an assist, in his first four games but a two-goal performance in the last week, and another assist has the Penn State assistant captain sitting on four points in six games to start the 2020-21 season.

Matthew Hellickson
Hellickson's Notre Dame team played two more games to bring his season totals to six games this season. Through those six games, the 22-year-old defenseman has two assists, including one this past weekend.
Hellickson is wearing the 'A' for Notre Dame this season, his fourth with the club.
Cole Brady
Goaltender Cole Brady has started his year with Arizona State and has five games under his belt so far this year. He has posted a 1-2-1 record with a 3.62 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage.
In his last two games, Brady went 1-1-0 with a 3.06 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.
Ethan Edwards
With the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL, the left-shooting defenseman had a plus-two rating this last week. He has played four games to date and held without a point.
He has committed to the University of Michigan for the 2021-22 season.

CANADA

Dawson Mercer & Graeme Clarke
Both Dawson Mercer and Graeme Clarke have been with Team Canada in Red Deer, Alberta as part of Hockey Canada's World Junior Selection Camp. For the last two weeks, Canada's team has been in isolation and quarantine after several COVID-19 positive tests. On Tuesday, December 8 Hockey Canada was given the go-ahead from the Alberta provincial government to resume activities. Both Mercer and Clarke remain on the roster after Hockey Canada cut five players who were deemed 'unfit to play'.
Before leaving for camp, Mercer had seven points (four goals, three assists) in five games with Chicoutimi in the QMJHL. Clarke's OHL season has not yet started.

RUSSIA

Yegor Sharangovich
There he goes again… Yegor Sharangovich has been a bright star in the KHL this season. This past week alone with Dinamo Minsk, he had four points (two goals, two assists) in two games.
His bright week bumped his season totals to 22 points in 31 games played, 17 of which are goals. His 22 points are ranked third on his team, while his 17 goals are good for the team lead.
Shakir Mukhamadullin
In 31 games Mukhamadullin has two goals and seven assists with his KHL club team, Salavat Ufa. He has now joined Team Russia for the World Junior Championship.
All teams must have their finalized rosters and travel to Canada by Sunday, December 12th.
Arseni Gritsyuk
Gritsyuk is currently part of Russia's World Junior selection camp roster, along with 14 other forwards. The tournament is set to begin on December 26th, with teams needing to report to Alberta, Canada this coming Sunday.
Russia has not yet announced its finalized roster.
Gritsyuk has played in seven games with Avangard Omsk this season, and eight VHL games with two goals and four assists. Additionally, he has played six MHL games where he has his best offensive numbers with nine points (four goals, five assists) in six games.
Daniil Misyul
Defenseman Daniil Misyul has played 26 games with Lokomotiv and has two assists and 10 penalty minutes.
Yegor Zaitsev
Defenseman Yegor Zaitsev has played 32 games played with Dynamo Moscow with 16 penalty minutes and five assists.
Mikhail Maltsev
Maltsev's loan with St. Petersburg has come to an end. He finished having played in just our games on loan with SKA, recording one assist.

SWEDEN

Alexander Holtz
Holtz was held pointless in his last week, playing three games with Djurgårdens. Despite a string without points, Holtz is the second leading scorer on his team with 13 points in 19 games, two off the team lead.
Holtz has left his club team as he prepares for the World Junior championship, part of Sweden's team scheduled to arrive in Alberta, Canada on Sunday.
Fabian Zetterlund
Playing in the HockeyAllsvenskan with AIK on loan, Zetterlund was held without a point in his one game this past week.
He has two goals and three assists in nine games played.
Nikola Pasic
The 20-year-old 2019 draft pick is playing with Linköping HC in his home country. Through 19 games this season, he has four goals and a single assist. Playing in Sweden's top league, Pasic's four goals are tied for third on his team.
He remains only one of two players who have played at least 15 games who have not been called for a penalty this season.
Jesper Boqvist
Boqvist has totaled 10 points in 13 games with Timrå IK in the HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden's second-highest hockey league. His three goals with Timra puts Boqvist in the team's top ten goal scorers, sitting seventh.

FINLAND

Janne Kuokkanen
On loan with With Kärpät in Liiga, Kuokkanen has seven points in 16 games, sitting within the team's Top 10 in points.
At the moment the Finnish league has suspended operations due to stricter restrictions in certain Finnish regions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The league is expected to resume on December 19th.
Nick Merkley
Merkley's loan has ended with Assat in Finland. He was a key player for the club, playing in 19 games during his time with the club. The 23-year-old had four goals and 13 points for the club.
Eetu Päkkilä
With Ilves in Liiga, Pakkila has totaled eight points in 15 games, with two goals and six assists.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Jaromir Pytlik
The 99th pick in the 2020 draft is currently on his national junior team camp roster preparing for the World Juniors.
With his club team, Litomerice in the Czech Republic's Tier 2 division, he has played four games this season, held without a point.

SLOVAKIA

Marian Studenic
Studenic added an assist to his point total after two games this week. His one-assist in his last two games brings his season totals to 10 points in 16 games with six goals and four assists.
His 10 points are tied for sixth on his team while his six goals are tied for third with one other player.

SWITZERLAND

Ben Baumgartner
The 161st pick in the 2020 draft had a three-point week since we last checked in. In his last two games, Baumgartner scored a goal and two assists for three points.
His season totals sit at three goals and five assists through 10 games with Davos.

GERMANY

Nico Daws
Goaltender Nico Daws will be playing with ERC Ingolstadt of the DEL, the top tier league in Germany, until there the Ontario Hockey League season begins. The season in Germany has not yet started, with a December 17th opening night on the horizon.
