The Devils have made five roster moves ahead of their Thursday night contest against the New York Islanders. Four players have been removed from the NHL's COVID-19 protocol while one player was elevated from the taxi squad. All five are available to play.
Forwards Nathan Bastian, Andreas Johnsson, Yegor Sharangovich and Pavel Zacha have been removed from COVID-19 protocols and activated.
Sharangovich and Zacha each missed three games with the illness. Johnsson missed two games while Bastian missed one.
Defenseman Colton White was elevated from the taxi squad to the main roster.
