Defenseman Ty Smith has suffered an injury and forward Jesper Bratt is ill (non-COVID related), Devils head coach Lindy Ruff told the media Saturday.
Smith's injury will keep him off the ice "for a number of days," per the bench boss.
Bratt was scheduled to play Friday night against the NY Rangers until he fell ill. The winger did skate Saturday with the non-game group.
