Steve Cangialosi has stepped down as the play-by-play voice of the New Jersey Devils on MSG Networks, a role he held for the past 11 seasons.
"The New Jersey Devils are a first class organization, and it was a privilege to serve as the voice of the club for 11 seasons, and to be affiliated with Devils' hockey on MSG Networks for 16 years," he said in a statement. "Memories and friendships I've made with our terrific MSG Devils' crew, and of course, the fans, will last even longer and for that I am grateful."
Cangialosi has called Devils' games since the 2011-12 season alongside color commentators Ken Daneyko and Glenn "Chico" Resch.
Cangialosi, who joined MSG Networks 16 years ago as a sideline reporter, will remain the voice of Red Bulls soccer.
