The Devils take on the Edmonton Oilers tonight at Prudential Center in the second half of a back-to-back set, their second this week. Here's what you need to know:
1) This is the first game Taylor Hall will play against his former team and also marks the return of Adam Larsson to New Jersey after they were traded for each other in a move that shocked the hockey world this summer.

2) Cory Schneider was pulled less than 15 minutes into the game last night after allowing three goals on five shots. Keith Kinkaid allowed a goal on the first shot he faced in relief, but made the save on the remaining eight shots he saw in the final 44 minutes of the game. Head coach John Hynes said afterward that he hadn't made a decision on a goalie for tonight and would make the announcement during his pre-game availability at 5 p.m.
3) Special teams was a major area of concern for the Devils last night. They scored on the power play, but they also allowed two power play goals and one shorthanded. No doubt that will be addressed in their pregame video session.
You can watch tonight's game on MSG+ or listen to it on The One Jersey Network. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
