DEVILS VS. AVALANCHE
Tonight is the second and final game between New Jersey and Colorado this season. The Devils defeated the Avalanche, 3-2, on Feb. 14 at Prudential Center. Pavel Zacha, Andy Greene (PP) and Kyle Palmieri (GWG) each scored in the contest. Cory Schneider stopped 28 of 30 shots in the victory.
This is the second contest of the club's three-game, road-trip. New Jersey lost, 0-2, Mar. 7 at CBJ and will conclude their final game of the trip on Mar. 11 at Arizona.
The Devils are 5-4-2 against the Central Division and are 10-9-5 vs. Western Conference opponents. New Jersey has not defeated Colorado at Pepsi Center since Mar. 15, 2008 (4-2) and are 0-3-2 in their last games in Colorado. The Devils are 32-30-12 all-time vs. the Avalanche/Nordiques franchise.
Taylor Hall has eight goals and four assists (12pts) in his last 11 games vs. Colorado.

Damon Severson and Colorado defenseman Tyson Barrie were teammates with Kelowna (WHL) in 2010-11…Jacob Josefson and Avs' winger Gabriel Landeskog played together with Djurgardens (Swe.) during the 2008-09 season…Joseph Blandisi was drafted by the Avalanche in 2012 (6th round, 162nd overall)…Eric Gelinas was drafted 54th overall (2nd round) by the Devils in the 2009 Draft and spent two-plus seasons with New Jersey from 2012-2016.
