The New Jersey Devils issued a statement on Saturday morning regarding the status of goaltender Cory Schneider:
Cory Schneider suffered lower body cramping in the 2nd period last night and was unable to return. The athletic training staff was able to effectively manage it and it should not be an issue going forward. Schneider made the trip to Buffalo and is available to play tonight.
