Canada: Damon Severson, Ryan Graves, Dawson Mercer
Pierre-Luc Dubois scored two goals for Canada as it triumphed, 5-3, against Germany Friday at Helsinki Ice Hall. Cole Sillinger, Kent Johnson and Noah Gregor also tallied for Team Canada.
Devils center Dawson Mercer notched an assist in the game. Devils defensemen Damon Severson (20:51) and Ryan Graves (16:28) both logged significant ice time. Graves added two shots and a plus-1.
Next: Canada will play Italy on Sunday.

UNITED STATES 4, LATVIA 1
United States: Jon Gillies, Luke Hughes
Defenseman Seth Jones posted two points (1G-1A) while the United States topped Latvia, 4-1, Friday at Nokia Arena. Sam Lafferty, Thomas Bordeleau and Riley Barber also scored for America, while Devils defensive prospect Luke Hughes logged 16:11 minutes of ice time.

SLOVAKIA 4, FRANCE 2
Slovakia: Tomas Tatar
Forward Tomas Tatar scored a second-period goal as Slovakia defeated France, 4-2, Friday at Helsinki Ice Hall. Tatar also notched three shots in 18:38 minutes of ice time.
Pavol Regenda scored two goals on four shots for Slovakia, while winger Juraj Slafkovsky, an expected high draft pick in 2022, posted two assists, three shots and a plus-1.
