Sunday concluded the IIHF World Championship in Finland with the medal round of games.

Sakari Manninen scored the tournament-winning overtime goal to help Finland win the 2022 IIHF World Championship gold medal in their home country with a 4-3 victory against Canada Sunday at Nokia Arena.
Mikael Granlund posted two goals and three points and Joel Armia also scored for the Finns.
Forward Matt Barzal recorded three assists on all three Canadian goals, which were scored by Dylan Cozens, Zach Whitecloud and Max Comtois.
Devils defenseman Damon Severson picked up an assist, a plus-1 and a team-high 28:55 minutes of ice time. Ryan Graves logged 22:55 minutes.

CZECHIA 8, USA 4

David Pastrnak recorded a hat trick as part of a six-goal third-period outburst for Czechia, which defeated the United States, 8-4, to claim the bronze medal Sunday at Nokia Arena.
David Kampf tallied twice while Jiri Smejkal, Jiri Cernoch and Roman Cervenka also chipped in goals.
Karson Kuhlman scored twice for the Americans, which had a 3-1 lead after the first period, while Adam Gaudette and Thomas Bordeleau added goals.
Devils defensive prospect Luke Hughes saw 24:05 minutes of action.
