The primary goal of PLAY HER WAY is to continue learning the fundamentals of ice hockey while promoting confidence, teamwork, and a sense of empowerment for girls ages 4-12. Participants will continue to learn basic hockey skills while also introducing gameplay scenarios. PLAY HER WAY aims to balance skill, fun and continued development while introducing players to more pathways to learn and grow the sport.

PLAY HER WAY Program Registration Includes:

  • One-time $280 registration fee
  • Complete set of brand new hockey gear to keep!
  • Twelve (12) one-hour classes on Thursdays (4:30 p.m.) and Saturdays (1:15 p.m.) at The Rinks – KHS ICE
  • Experienced female coaching with support from Anaheim Lady Ducks mentors
  • Special guest coaching appearances

The Anaheim Ducks Play Her Way program is intended for participants new to hockey or those who have recently completed the Learn Her Way program. Participants are only eligible to participate in the program once. Participants who have previously played in an organized program – Little Ducks, Hockey Initiation, Rec League, etc. – are not eligible to participate in this program.

The Anaheim Ducks value everyone who has a passion for and wants to participate in hockey. Individuals that identify as non-binary, transgender, gender fluid, or cisgender women are welcome to register for events and programs within FLY HER WAY.
