Anaheim's top prospects will participate in both on-ice and off-ice workouts at Anaheim ICE throughout the camp, running June 29-July 2. Only the July 2 scrimmage is open to the public. All five of Anaheim's selections from the 2017 NHL Draft will participate in the camp, including Maxime Comtois (second round, 50th overall), Antoine Morand (second round, 60th overall), Jack Badini (third round, 91st overall), Kyle Olson (fourth round, 122nd overall) and Olle Eriksson-Ek (fifth round, 153rd overall). Additional Ducks prospects attending the four-day camp include Max Jones (24th overall in 2016), Sam Steel (30th overall in 2016), Marcus Pettersson (38th overall in 2014), Troy Terry (148th overall in 2015) and Julius Nattinen (59th overall in 2015).
The four-day camp focuses on both the on-ice and off-ice development of the organization's top young prospects. In addition to on-ice skating sessions, each player will receive a personally tailored nutritional recommendation and be tested for strength thresholds, range of movement and aerobic capacity. Away from the rink, players will have opportunities to visit Huntington Beach, attend an Angels game, and receive cooking lessons from Honda Center Executive Chef JoJo Doyle at the Culinary Institute in Anaheim.
