Jamie Drysdale (18 years, 344 days) became the third-youngest defenseman and fifth-youngest Duck overall to make his NHL debut with the club tonight vs. Arizona at Honda Center.

He became fifth 18-year-old to appear in a game with the Ducks and is the youngest defensemen to make his debut in 10 years. The only defensemen in franchise history to make their debuts at a younger age were Oleg Tverdovsky (18 years, 258 days) and Cam Fowler (18 years, 307 days).
Drysdale scored Anaheim's first goal of the game in the second period, becoming the youngest Ducks player in 25 years and the second-youngest player in franchise history to score a goal in his NHL debut (Chad Kilger, Oct. 9, 1995 at Winnipeg; 18 years, 316 days). Drysdale is also the third-youngest Ducks defensemen in franchise history to score a goal (fourth-youngest overall). Drysdale is the youngest-ever player in franchise history to record two points in his NHL debut (1-1=2).
