The Ducks have acquired defenseman Patrick Sieloff from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for left wing Brian Gibbons.

Sieloff, 24 (5/15/94), has two goals (2-0=2) and two penalty minutes (PIM) in two career NHL games with Ottawa and Calgary. The 6-1, 205-pound defenseman also scored in his first game with Ottawa on Mar. 20, 2018 vs. Florida, becoming the first player in league history to score a goal in each of his first two career games while playing for different teams.
Selected by Calgary in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Sieloff has earned 8-39=47 points with 406 PIM in 257 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with Belleville (2017-19), Binghamton (2016-17), Stockton (2015-16), Adirondack (2014-15) and Abbotsford (2013-14).
