The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired right wing Evgenii Dadonov and a second-round selection (conditions below) from Vegas for defenseman John Moore and the contract of Ryan Kesler. Anaheim receives Vegas' second-round selection in either the 2023 or 2024 NHL Draft.

Dadonov, 33 (3/12/89), scored 15-12=27 points with 14 penalty minutes (PIM) in 62 games with the Golden Knights this season. The 5-11, 185-pound forward has scored 119-130=249 points and 60 PIM in 397 career NHL games with Vegas, Ottawa and Florida.
Originally selected by Florida in the third round (71st overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft, Dadonov scored 25 or more goals in three straight seasons with Florida from 2017-20, including a career high 28=42=70 points in 2018-19. Dadonov also appeared in 311 career KHL contests, scoring 119-130=249 points. He helped SKA St. Petersburg to a Gagarin Cup championship in 2015 while scoring the most postseason goals (15).
A native of Chelyabinsk, Russia, Dadonov helped his country to gold medals at the 2014 World Championship and 2007 World U-18 World Championship. He also helped Russia earn medals at multiple World Championships, including silver in 2015 and bronze in 2016 and 2019. He also earned back-to-back bronze medals at the 2008 and 2009 World Junior Championships.
Moore, 31 (11/19/90), has appeared in 544 career NHL games with Boston (2018-22), New Jersey (2015-18), Arizona (2014-15), New York Rangers (2012-15) and Columbus (2010-13), registering 38-80=118 points and 227 PIM.
Acquired by Anaheim from Boston with Urho Vaakanainen, a first-round selection and two second-round selections in the NHL Draft for Hampus Lindholm and Kodie Curran on Mar. 19, Moore earned one assist with a +2 rating and four PIM with Boston this season in addition to 1-5=6 points in 11 games with Providence of the American Hockey League (AHL).
