The Ducks have acquired left wing Nicolas Deslauriers from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Deslauriers, 28 (2/22/91), has collected 24-25=49 points in 317 career NHL games with the Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres. Last season, the 6-1, 221-pound forward earned 2-3=5 points with 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 48 games with Montreal.
Selected by Los Angeles in the third round (84th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Deslauriers recorded 27-57=84 points in 207 American Hockey League (AHL) career games with Manchester and Rochester. He also collected 35-92=127 points in 223 career Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) games with Rouyn-Noranda and Gatineau.
