The Ducks have acquired center Devin Shore from the Dallas Stars in exchange for left wing Andrew Cogliano.
Shore, 24 (7/19/94), has collected 29-53=82 points in 209 career NHL games with Dallas. The 6-1, 205-pound center earned 5-12=17 points with an even plus/minus rating in 42 games with Dallas this season. At the time of the trade, Shore co-led the Stars in game-winning goals (3) and ranked tied for seventh on the team in points. Shore set career highs in goals (13) and points (33) during the 2016-17 season and followed up with a personal best in assists (21) and shots on goal (123) last season. The Ajax, Ontario native played all 82 regular-season games in both 2016-17 and 2017-18, joining Tyler Seguin as the only two Dallas players to do so.
