Jackson Lewis-Rodriguez leads the Ducks onto the ice

On a very special night at Honda Center, the Ducks partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make 12-year-old Jackson Lewis-Rodriguez's dreams come true. Jackson, who has a serious heart condition that requires him to have a pacemaker, was in uniform with his favorite team and led the Ducks onto the ice for the start of the game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Yesterday, Jackson signed a contract with the Ducks and practiced with the team at Great Park Ice in Irvine, Calif. Following practice, Cam Fowler captained a duffy boat throughout Newport Beach Harbor for the Lewis-Rodriguez family to the Balboa Fun Zone, where Jackson enjoyed arcade games and carnival attractions with Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale.

Last season Jackson got the opportunity to meet Ducks players Ryan Getzlaf, Trevor Zegras and John Gibson after a game in New Jersey (near his hometown), and his reaction was priceless.
