The Ducks and Honda Center will host the annual We Give Thanks event Thursday, Nov. 23 at Honda Center. The event is free to all attendees with no reservations required. La Casa Garcia Restaurant and We Give Thanks, Inc., a nonprofit charitable organization founded by restaurateur and philanthropist Frank Garcia, have been serving free Thanksgiving dinners to those in need in the greater Orange County region for over 35 years.
To accommodate community members who may go without a holiday meal, the Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center have partnered with We Give Thanks, Inc. for this year’s event, which will be held in the arena parking Lot 8. All Ducks players and coaches will participate by helping to serve meals following their team practice (approx. noon). Thanksgiving meals will be served beginning at 11 a.m. (carving photo opportunity at 10:45) and will continue until 2 p.m. Details are listed below.
