The Ducks have reassigned left wing Nicolas Kerdiles to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

At the 2012 NHL Draft in Pittsburgh, Kerdiles became the first Ducks draft pick raised in Orange County (Irvine, Calif.) after being selected in the second round (36th overall).
The 6-2, 192-pound forward has collected 29-37=66 points with 117 penalty minutes (PIM) in 112 career AHL games with San Diego (2015-17) and Norfolk (2013-15). He made his AHL Calder Cup Playoff debut in 2014 with Norfolk, recording 3-1=4 points with two PIM in 10 postseason contests. In 10 games with San Diego this season, Kerdiles has earned 4-5=9 points with a +2 rating and two PIM.
