The Ducks have reassigned defenseman Shea Theodore and center Kalle Kossila to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Theodore, 21 (8/3/95), earned 1-7=8 points with 18 penalty minutes (PIM) in 25 games with the Ducks this season. Selected by Anaheim in the first round (26th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Theodore has recorded 4-12=16 points with 20 PIM in 44 career NHL games. In 11 games with the Gulls this season, Theodore has collected 1-8=9 points with a +5 rating and eight PIM.
Kossila, 23 (4/14/93), made his NHL debut last night against Edmonton, going scoreless on one shot on net. Kossila has recorded 9-18=27 points with a +20 rating and four PIM in 33 AHL games this season. He returns to the Gulls ranked tied for fourth among AHL leaders in plus/minus, ranked second on the Gulls in assists, and third in scoring and points-per-game (0.82). The 5-10, 180-pound forward was signed by Anaheim as a free agent on Mar. 30, 2016 out of St. Cloud State of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).
