The Ducks have reassigned right wing Corey Tropp to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Tropp, 27 (7/25/89), made his Anaheim debut last night against Arizona, going scoreless with two hits. He has appeared in 149 career NHL games with Buffalo (2011-14), Columbus (2014-15) and Anaheim (2016-17), recording 6-21=27 points with 133 PIM. With San Diego, Tropp has earned 12-25=37 points with a +5 rating and 44 PIM in 42 AHL games this season. Acquired from Chicago in exchange for Tim Jackman and a seventh-round selection in the 2017 NHL Draft on Feb. 29, 2016, Tropp returns to the Gulls as the club leader in both points and assists, while ranking second in power-play goals (5) and tied for second in goals.
