The Ducks have recalled left wings Nicolas Kerdiles and Ondrej Kase from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

play for the Anaheim Ducks. Kerdiles was also the club's first-ever draft pick that was raised in Orange County (Irvine, Calif.) after being selected in the second round (36th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft in Pittsburgh.
The 6-2, 192-pound forward has collected 32-40=72 points with 140 penalty minutes (PIM) in 129 career AHL games with San Diego (2015-17) and Norfolk (2013-15). He has also appeared in 13 career Calder Cup Playoff games, earning 5-2=7 points with four PIM. In 27 games with San Diego this season, Kerdiles has 7-8=15 points with a +1 rating and 25 PIM. He has also recorded 2-1=3 points in three games during San Diego's 2017 First Round Calder Cup Playoff matchup with the Ontario Reign.
Kase, 21 (11/8/95), made his NHL playoff debut in Game 1 of the First Round on Apr. 13 vs. Calgary, going scoreless on two shots. In 53 regular-season games with the Ducks, Kase earned 5-10=15 points with 18 PIM. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh and scored his first career NHL goal and game-winning goal on Dec. 1 in Vancouver.
Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Kase has recorded 14-12=26 points with 10 PIM and a +10 rating in 39 career AHL games with San Diego, including 6-6=12 points and a +13 rating in 14 contests this season. The 6-0, 180-pound forward has also earned 1-4=5 points in 12 career Calder Cup Playoff games with the Gulls, including one assist (0-1=1) in three games during San Diego's 2017 First Round matchup with the Ontario Reign.
