The Ducks have recalled defensemen Josh Mahura and Jake Dotchin, and goaltender Kevin Boyle from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). In addition, the Ducks assigned defenseman Luke Schenn to San Diego.

Mahura, 20 (5/5/98), collected 1-7=8 points in 12 games with the Gulls this season. Mahura led San Diego in points and assists, and co-led in power-play goals (1) at the time of his recall. Among AHL rookie defensemen, Mahura ranked tied for third in assists. Selected by Anaheim in the third round (85th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft, Mahura earned 41-90=131 points with a +44 rating in 186 career Western Hockey League (WHL) games with Red Deer and Regina from 2014-18.
Dotchin, 24, (3/24/94), earned one assist (0-1=1) with a +3 rating and 18 PIM in seven games with the Gulls this season. Dotchin has appeared in 83 career NHL games with Tampa Bay, collecting 3-19=22 points with a +27 rating and 73 PIM. Signed as a free agent on Oct. 18, 2018, Dotchin established personal bests in goals (3), plus/minus (+17) and games played (48), and matched a career high in points (11) last season with the Lightning.
Boyle, 26 (5/30/92), posted a 4-2-0 record with a 2.87 goals-against average (GAA) and .920 save percentage (SV%) in seven games this season with San Diego. At the time of his recall, Boyle ranked sixth among AHL goaltenders in SV%.
Schenn, 29 (11/2/89), appeared in eight games with the Ducks this season, going scoreless with seven penalty minutes (PIM). Signed as a free agent on July 2, 2018, Schenn has earned 30-113=143 points with 536 PIM in 716 career NHL games with Toronto (2008-12), Philadelphia (2012-16), Los Angeles (2015-16), Arizona (2016-18) and Anaheim (2018-19).
