The Ducks have signed left wing Nicolas Deslauriers to a two-year contract extension through the 2021-22 NHL season.
Deslauriers, 28 (2/22/91), has collected 2-5=7 points with a career-high 80 penalty minutes (PIM) in 45 games with the Ducks this season. Acquired from Montreal for a fourth-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft on June 30, 2019, Deslauriers currently leads Anaheim in PIM and ranks second in hits (108).

Selected by Los Angeles in the third round (84th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Deslauriers has earned 26-30=56 points with 343 PIM in 362 career NHL games with Anaheim, Montreal and Buffalo. The 6-3, 219-pound forward earned his first point with Anaheim (assist) in a 7-4 victory Oct. 29, 2019 vs. Winnipeg, and scored his first goal as a Duck Nov. 18, 2019 at Washington. Deslauriers' five assists with the Ducks this season are his most since 2015-16 (6) and only five shy of his career best established in 2014-15 (10).
