Starting at 8:30 a.m., fans are invited to join the team for warm ups to get a close-up look and interact with players in front of Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena on the East Grass area. The pre-scrimmage festivities will include live music and inflatable enforcers in addition to appearances from Ducks Power Players and mascot Wild Wing.
The inaugural Orange vs. Black intrasquad scrimmage will begin at 11 a.m. at FivePoint arena. Following the scrimmage, fans are encouraged to stick around to watch the first Orange vs. Black trophy presentation. Admission to #FlyTogether Fan Camp will be open to the public free of charge.
Fans will receive 25% off all headwear purchased during #FlyTogether Fan Camp at the Anaheim Ducks team store located at located next to Rink 1 at Great Park Ice. Orange Alliance members will receive an additional 10% off. The Anaheim Ducks Team Store located at Great Park Ice will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ducks Stream will be on site during #FlyTogether Fan Camp to interview fans about the excitement of the season and answer questions regarding the new audio streaming network. The free 24/7 station will host all live game broadcasts, exclusive podcasts and up-to-date news covering the Ducks and the NHL. Fans can listen to the stream by visiting AnaheimDucks.com/DucksStream
Additionally, the Ducks will host their annual Teachers Seminar at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena for local teachers involved in the Ducks S.C.O.R.E. (Scholastic Curriculum Of Recreation & Education) street hockey program prior to the Orange vs. Black scrimmage.
Teachers will arrive at 8 a.m. for breakfast followed by a presentation on street hockey programming offered by the Anaheim Ducks organization including S.C.O.R.E., C4Kids and pathways available through The Rinks. Following the presentation, teachers will have the opportunity to learn new hockey drills and coaching methods from Ducks staff members before attending the Orange vs. Black scrimmage.
