In three starts, all on the road against playoff contending clubs in the Eastern Conference, Gibson turned aside 143-of-151 shots, highlighted by two 51-save performances and a pair of wins to close the road trip.
Gibson stopped 51-of-55 shots, including 22-of-23 in the third period, in a 4-3 loss to Florida on Monday, coming within two saves of his own franchise record set earlier this month.

The 29-year-old followed that up with a 41-save victory over Washington, stopping each of the Capitals' final 26 shots on net.
He closed the week out Sunday with another 51 saves in a 3-2 win over the NHL's second-ranked team, the Carolina Hurricanes, becoming just the second goaltender since shots on goal was first tracked (the 1955-56 season), to post three 50-save performances in a single month (joining Gump Worsley, Jan. 1963).Gibson's 1,394 saves through 41 games are the most by an NHL goalie since Jacques Plante (1,442) in 1963-64. He leads the league this season in saves, even-strength saves (1,153), 50-save games (three), games with 40-plus saves (10) and 35-plus save efforts (18). He's also the lone NHL netminder this season with at least four games of 45-plus saves.
