The trials will take place Feb. 28 - Mar. 6, 2021, and also serve as the 2021 USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship. The winning team will go on to represent the U.S. at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Championship and will be nominated to the 2022 U.S. Olympic Team for mixed doubles.

"The sport's best athletes will be competing to become members of the 2022 Olympic Team in mixed doubles and we can't wait to see how it unfolds."
The trials will take place at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena, a 280,000-square-foot multi-purpose ice facility featuring four ice rinks, pro shop, full-service restaurant, and seating for 2,500 in the FivePoint Arena.
The U.S. can begin earning qualification points for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games beginning at the 2020 World Mixed Doubles Championship in April of 2020. Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena is one of the nation's largest public ice facilities, located at the Orange County Great Park. The facility is a part of a public-private partnership with the Irvine Ice Foundation.
