With the goal, Terry became the first Duck to reach 20 points this season. The 25-year-old winger leads the team in points and assists, and is second in goals.
Fowler has back-to-back two assist games (0-4=4) and is now 10 shy of 300 for his NHL career. Carrick grabbed the secondary assist for his first point of the season.
The Jets would answer midway through the second period on a power-play goal. Dubois brought the puck right to the crease from the side of the net, with the rebound bouncing to Connor following behind his centerman. With Dubois now applying an inadvertent screen, Connor quickly shoveled a shot through the traffic and past an unsure Gibson, tying the game at one. The Ducks bench appeared to consider a challenge for goaltender interference, but ultimately elected not to request the official review.
Winnipeg nearly took the lead on another strong power play later in the period, teeing off on Gibson for much of the two minutes. Gibson responded with a couple of big stops though and Simon Benoit came up with a massive shot block on the Jets' best look, getting in front of Cole Perfetti's one-timer while the Anaheim goaltender was sprawled in his crease.
Instead that 1-1 score would hold until late in the third period, when the second of two goals scored just 28 seconds apart temporarily paused the home side's celebration.
Connor struck for the second time to put the Jets ahead with 5:45 to play in regulation, one-timing home a centering feed from Sam Gagner behind the Ducks net.
Connor has 10 goals in 13 career games against the Ducks (10-5=15) and points in six straight matchups.
Zegras answered 28 seconds later off a give-and-go with linemate Adam Henrique. The two first connected on a stretch pass up ice, with Henrique taking the pass at the Winnipeg blue line and entering the zone before returning the favor to Zegras racing down left wing. Zegras took the puck right to the net, lifting a forehand shot over Hellebuyck's right shoulder to tie the game again.
