Ducks players will participate in the Ducks Day celebrations beginning at 1:30 p.m. with the Anaheim Ducks Cavalcade. Fans can cheer on the team during the cavalcade by picking a spot along the performance corridor from Paradise Gardens to Hollywood Land. Players will also participate in meet and greet photo opportunities for fans at the Hollywood Backlot Stage at 2:15 p.m., 3 p.m., and 3:45 p.m. Wristbands are required for the meet-and-greet experience and will be distributed at park opening in the Hollywood Backlot area near the Stage 12 patio adjacent to the Hollywood Backlot Stage. Wristbands are extremely limited and available while supplied last. Autographs will not be permitted and other restrictions apply
The celebration will continue Friday, Jan. 13 at the Downtown Disney District located between Splitsville Luxury Lanes and Tortilla Jo's as fans will have the opportunity to take part in special Anaheim Ducks-themed experiences including a photo opportunity, meet-and-greet with Wild Wing and more, hosted by DJ JoJo.
Originally founded by The Walt Disney Company in 1993, the Anaheim Ducks were originally known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a name which was inspired by the 1992 Disney film, "The Mighty Ducks." The name remained the same until the 2006-2007 season, when the club officially became known as the Anaheim Ducks.
