The Ducks announced today that individual tickets for 2016-17 regular season home contests will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. PDT. The Ducks, recipients of J.D. Power "Highest Ranked Fan Experience in Los Angeles" award, will host their home opener Sunday, Oct. 23 vs. the Vancouver Canucks at Honda Center (season begins on the road on Oct. 13 at Dallas). In addition, individual tickets for all three of the National Hockey League (NHL) club's preseason contests at Honda Center will be available for purchase.

Beginning this week, the Ducks Street Team and Power Players will be making #CountdowntoDucktober stops around the Orange County community. At each stop, fans will have the opportunity to participate in games and contests in order to win great prizes including autographed memorabilia and tickets. The Ducks will also host a #CountdowntoDucktober Skating Party at THE RINKS-Anaheim ICE this Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All fans who come dressed in Ducks gear will receive a free skate rental. Fans attending the #CountdowntoDucktober stops will have the opportunity to purchase individual-game tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Sept. 15. Individual tickets for the majority of games in the 2016-17 season start at under $30 per game (Terrace Value). A member of the seven-team Pacific Division (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, San Jose, Los Angeles and Arizona), Anaheim will face five divisional opponents four or five times this season. Additionally, Anaheim will face non-divisional Western Conference opponents three times. Every NHL team will visit Honda Center at least one time this season as the Ducks will take on each of the 16 Eastern Conference clubs twice (one home, one away). Highlights from Anaheim's home schedule include visits from Original Six opponents: Friday, Nov. 25 and Thursday, Apr. 6 vs. Chicago; Wednesday, Feb. 22 vs. Boston, Sunday, Mar. 26 vs. NY Rangers; Friday, Mar. 3 vs. Toronto; Wednesday, Jan. 4 vs. Detroit; and Tuesday, Nov. 29 vs. Montreal. In addition, the Ducks will host Los Angeles for three contests at Honda Center on Sunday, Nov. 20, Sunday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Apr. 9. The Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins are slated to visit Anaheim on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
In addition, the club will host 15 promotional and giveaway nights during the season which includes a full-arena bobble head giveaway series featuring Ryan Getzlaf, John Gibson and Ryan Kesler (Oct. 28, Nov. 29 and Jan. 19 respectively).
