The Ducks announced today that leading medical center and long-standing team partner UCI Health will be the club's Season Presenting Partner for five upcoming seasons and the club's Helmet Decal Partner for the 2021-22 season.
UCI Health to be Ducks' Season Presenting and Helmet Decal Partner
UCI Health is the Official Hospital Partner of the Anaheim Ducks and has been proudly featured as the Ducks' Season Presenting Partner for the past three years, beginning in 2018-19. UCI Health will have its iconic logo prominently displayed on the player helmets during all 2021-22 regular season (home and away) and playoff games, in addition to all practices. The announcement comes in the days leading up to the 82-game 2021-22 NHL regular season, with the Anaheim Ducks ready to take the ice in the reconfigured NHL Pacific Division.
Under the agreement, UCI Health will continue to be integrated into all facets of the Ducks organization, including a joint logo that will be showcased throughout the next five seasons. The joint logo will be assimilated into the Ducks' in-market branding, social media channels, website and throughout the community. UCI Health will also have its own brand presence through in-arena signage and promotions, (including the fan-favorite Flex Cam), outdoor signage, digital integration and specific game-night takeovers. In addition, it will be incorporated into both the TV and radio broadcast assets. UCI Health will also be the Presenting Partner of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Fights Cancer Night (Nov. 18 vs. Carolina), Presenting Partner of Health & Wellness Night, including a Wild Wing Hand Sanitizer giveaway courtesy of UCI Health (Feb. 25 vs. Los Angeles), and the Presenting Partner of a Ducks Mystery Bobblehead (Mar. 31 vs. Dallas).
"UCI Health is a key pillar of our community and we are honored to continue our partnership with them," said Bill Pedigo, ocV!BE Sports & Entertainment Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer "This partnership will shine a light on the heroes that work at UCI Health, the programs and treatments that they are developing and the tremendous stories of inspiration that emanate out of the facilities every day. Together the Ducks and UCI Health will continue our efforts to keep our communities safe and further our communication around healthcare and healthy lifestyles."
