The Oilers & Canucks Alumni went head to head in Fort McMurray

The Edmonton Oilers Alumni is rooted in a rich tradition of championship hockey, including five Stanley Cups, seven finals appearances and a roster including some of the highest profile players to ever play the game. On the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the National Hockey League (NHL), the 1984-85 Edmonton Oilers team was voted "Greatest Stanley Cup Champion of All-time" by the fans. In fact, the Oilers had four teams in the top-10 greatest teams. In the past few seasons, Oilers Alumni have been proud to participate in some exceptional moments including the 1984 Stanley Cup Reunion celebrations, the 2016 Farewell Rexall Ceremony, the 2016 Heritage Classic in Winnipeg as well as supporting the current Edmonton Oilers roster as they returned to the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs in 2017.

The excellence on the ice is matched by an equal commitment off the ice to community building, support for charitable activities and a deep bond with Oilers fans everywhere. The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is a key vehicle for the Oilers Alumni to give back to the community and Foundation activities are significantly supported by both the current team and our Alumni members. This partnership has generated over $36 million that has been invested back into the community to support youth health and wellness efforts.
