Hockey Fights Cancer

Founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League and the NHL Players' Association, Hockey Fights Cancerâ„¢ (HFC) unites the hockey community in support of cancer patients and their families. November is Hockey Fights Cancer Month across the NHL and through this league-wide initiative the Philadelphia Flyers look to inspire hope and courage for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer.

Military Appreciation

In addition to honoring a member of the United States Armed Forces at every home game throughout the season, the Philadelphia Flyers also host Military Appreciation Night in support of the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces. The Flyers aim to honor their courage and sacrifice through in-game recognition and storytelling

Pride

The Philadelphia Flyers, the National Hockey League, and the NHL Players' Association celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and its allies by building a community that welcomes and celebrates authenticity and the love of hockey.

Black History Month

During the month of February, the Philadelphia Flyers, the National Hockey League, and the NHL Players' Association honor and celebrate Black History Month by commemorating black achievement in hockey while inspiring the next generation of players and fans to make the sport a more diverse and inclusive space.

The Philadelphia Flyers, the National Hockey League, and the NHL Players' Association, are proud to celebrate Women's History by honoring the heroes, leaders, and role models who make hockey happen every day.
