1. ABOUT GAME 1
The Flyers got out to a 2-0 lead off of two power-play goals, but it was all even strength after that with six straight tallies between these two... James van Riemsdyk had the two power-play goals, Claude Giroux was also credited with three assists while Ivan Provorov posted a three-point night (1g-2a) and logged 27:43 of ice time which was five more minutes than the next closest player in the game (NJD: Subban - 22:27).

2. ABOUT GAME 2
Despite being in the same division, it's the first time in nearly four years that these two teams will have faced each other in back-to-back games (Apr. 1-4, 2017) and just second time in history they play back-to-back in New Jersey (2006)... Devils center Pavel Zacha enters tonight with goals in back-to-back games and points in three of his last four against the Flyers... Jake Voracek enters tonight with a four-game point streak and six points (1g-5a), including a three-game assist streak with five assists in that span.

3. BE-DEVILED
The Devils have not dropped two in-a-row so far this season, bouncing back with wins both times after a loss and allowing just one goal to their opponent in the two games combined... The Devils have also not suffered back-to-back regulation losses in over a year with the last time coming in the form of three straight regulation losses from Jan. 14-18, 2020... The Devils come into tonight having dropped four of their last five against the Flyers (1-3-1).

4. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER
THIS: With three goals in the third period on Tuesday, the Flyers kept pace with Vegas and Vancouver for the most third-period goals (13)... THAT: Shayne Gostisbehere is one point away from 200 in his career - he would be just the sixth overall Flyers defenseman and just the third "homegrown" defenseman in franchise history to record 200 points... THE OTHER: The Flyers have scored 40% (4 of 10) of their road goals on the power play... The Devils have allowed two or more power-play goals in a game in four of their six games so far this year.

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH
FLYERS (LW: #25 - James van Riemsdyk)
van Riemsdyk is tied for the NHL lead with four power-play goals (TOR-John Tavares)... In addition to his seven points, JVR has five goals on the season through seven games - he didn't reach five goals until his 26th game of last season... Only once in his 12-year career has van Riemsdyk recorded five goals in his first seven games (2013-14) and seven points in his first seven games (2017-18).

DEVILS (RW: #21 - Kyle Palmieri)
Palmieri is scoreless through the first six games of the season which marks the first time in his 11-year NHL career he has not scored a goal in his first six games to start a season... Against the Flyers, he has the best numbers of any opponent in his career in both goals (11) and points (21) in 23 career meetings.
