The Philadelphia Flyers announced the club has acquired a 2023 sixth-round draft pick from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Patrick Brown, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

Brown, 30 (5/29/92), tallied seven points (2-5=7) and 17 penalty minutes (PIM) in 43 games with the Flyers this season. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound native of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., skated in his 100th NHL game Jan. 11 vs. Washington and netted his first career shorthanded goal Feb. 12 vs. Seattle. The right-shot forward owns 19 points (8-11=19) and 38 PIM in 120 career NHL contests in parts of seven seasons (2014-17; 2019-23) with Carolina, Vegas and Philadelphia. The Flyers claimed Brown off waivers from Vegas on Oct. 13, 2021.
