The Philadelphia Flyers today announced the club has acquired forward Denis Gurianov from Nashville in exchange for forward Wade Allison, according to General Manager Daniel Briere.

Gurianov, 26 (6/7/97), has split the 2023-24 season between Nashville and the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL). The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Tolyatti, Russia, tallied two points (1-1=2) in 14 games with the Predators and 30 points (12-18=30) in 27 contests with the Admirals. He ranked T-3rd on Milwaukee in power-play goals (3), T-4th in game-winning goals (2), sixth in goals and T-6th in assists, scoring and shots (79). The left-shot forward tied his career-high four points (2-2=4) on Dec. 27 vs. Chicago and made his Nashville season debut on Jan. 6 at Dallas.

Gurianov owns 113 points (52-61=113), 13 PPG, eight GWG and 60 penalty minutes in 294 career NHL games in seven seasons with Dallas, Montreal and Nashville (2016-17, 2018-24). Additionally, he has 17 points (9-8=17) in 32 career Stanley Cup Playoff games in two postseasons with the Stars (2020, 2022). He was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (12th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft. He has 142 points (66-76=142), 11 PPG, 15 GWG and 46 PIM in 217 career AHL games in five seasons with Texas and Milwaukee (2016-20, 2023-24).

Internationally, Gurianov won a bronze medal with Russia at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship and tallied seven points (4-3=7) in seven games.

Allison, 26 (10/14/97), was selected by the Flyers in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft and collected 22 points (13-9=22) in 75 NHL games in three seasons with Philadelphia (2020-23). He tallied 43 points (24-19=43) and 48 PIM in 84 career AHL contests in three seasons with Lehigh Valley (2020-22, 2023-24).
