The Philadelphia Flyers announced today they have signed center Morgan Frost to a one-year, one-way, contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $800,000, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

Frost, 23 (5/14/1999), appeared in his first full season with the Flyers in 2021-22 and posted 16 points (5g-11a) in 55 games. He also played for the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he recorded 19 points (6g-13a) in 24 games.
Over parts of three seasons with the Flyers, he has recorded seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points in 77 regular season games since making his NHL debut on Nov. 19, 2019 at Florida when he also scored his first NHL goal. He has also added a total of 48 points (19g-29a) in 65 games for the Phantoms in two seasons.
Prior to turning professional, the 6-0, 191-pound center spent four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 2015-19 where he amassed 106 goals and 204 assists for 310 points in 257 games, including back-to-back 100-point seasons in his final two seasons.
A native of Aurora, Ontario, Frost represented Canada at the 2019 World Junior Championship and led the team with eight points (4g-4a) in five games.
He was drafted by the Flyers in the first round (27th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
