The National Hockey League (NHL) today announced the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will take place Feb. 17-18 at MetLife Stadium, the home of the NFL's New York Jets and New York Giants. The event will feature four teams - the Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers and New York Islanders in two NHL regular-season outdoor games. The Devils will play host to the Flyers on Saturday, Feb. 17 while the Rangers will face off against the Islanders on Sunday, Feb. 18. The event will mark the first time four NHL teams play an outdoor game at the same venue in front of fans.

"I'm thrilled that the Flyers have been chosen to participate in this special event, and I'm excited to join thousands of other Flyers fans who will be driving up the New Jersey Turnpike to represent the Orange and Black with pride at MetLife Stadium next year," said Dan Hilferty, Chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor and Governor of the Philadelphia Flyers. "Outdoor games are a great way for our fans to come together to not only cheer on our team, but take part in a unique, memorable experience, as well."

"We are thrilled to see the Flyers get the opportunity to participate in the 2024 NHL Stadium Series at MetLife Stadium next February," said Keith Jones, President of Hockey Operations. "This truly will be a unique event to have four division rivalry teams that will bring their respective longtime histories and fan bases to one venue. After covering these premier NHL outdoor events for the last 13 years as a TV analyst, I am looking forward to soaking in Feb. 17 as a member of the Flyers Hockey Operations staff and seeing the team take on the Devils."

The event will mark the Flyers sixth NHL outdoor game - the most played among the four franchises - and their third Stadium Series event. Philadelphia's other outdoor games include the 2010 NHL Winter Classic against Boston at Fenway Park, the 2012 NHL Winter Classic against the N.Y. Rangers at Citizens Bank Park, the 2017 NHL Stadium Series against Pittsburgh at Heinz Field, the 2019 NHL Stadium Series against Pittsburgh at Lincoln Financial Field and the 2021 NHL Outdoors against the Bruins at Lake Tahoe.

The Flyers hold a nine-point advantage over the Devils in 264 regular-season games played (PHI: 124-109-31, 279 pts.; NJD: 122-116-26, 270 pts.). The Flyers and Devils have split their six Stanley Cup Playoffs matchups, with New Jersey winning their most recent meeting in the 2012 Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Flyers season ticket members will have first access to a pre-sale ticket opportunity for the 2024 Stadium Series event at a later date. The Stadium Series will not be a part of season ticket plans as the Flyers will be the road team. The best way for fans to gain pre-sale access for the 2024 Stadium Series is to join the Flyers Inside Edge program. Want to learn more about ticket options?
