The Philadelphia Flyers announced today they have signed free agent forward Nicolas Deslauriers to a four-year contract worth an average annual value (AAV) of $1.75M, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Chuck Fletcher.

Deslauriers, 31 (2/22/1991), split last season, 2021-22, between the Anaheim Ducks with 10 points (5g-5a) in 61 games before being traded to the Minnesota Wild at the trade deadline where he recorded three goals in 20 regular season games.
The 6-foot-3, 218 pound Deslauriers also appeared in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in his career with the Wild where he played five games in the Wild's First Round series vs. St. Louis.
Over parts of nine seasons in the NHL he has recorded 85 points (44g-41a) and 521 penalty minutes in 506 regular season games with the Buffalo Sabres (2013-17), Montreal Canadiens (2017-19), Ducks (2019-21) and Wild (2022).
Deslauriers also spent four years in the American Hockey League where he posted 84 points (27g-57a) in 207 regular seasons games with the Manchester Monarchs (Los Angeles Kings), Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres) and Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens). He added six points (3g-3a) in 13 Calder Cup Playoff games.
A native of LaSalle, Quebec, Deslauriers was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the third round (84th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
