Faceoff For Fitness School Assembly Program

Presented by UnitedHealthcare

The Minnesota Wild Faceoff For Fitness school assembly program is a great way to energize elementary school students, help them understand the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle, and learn more about the great sport of hockey through a partnership with the Minnesota Wild. The best part is, it's FREE!

Since the program's inception, the Minnesota Wild have visited over 150 schools. To continue the tradition of growing a greater State of Hockey, the Minnesota Wild have pledged to bring Faceoff For Fitness to 15 additional elementary schools throughout the Twin Cities by the end of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Each Faceoff For Fitness school assembly program will be approximately 30 minutes in length and will feature a visit from a current or former Minnesota Wild player; a current or former women's professional player; Minnesota Wild mascot, Nordy; and a Minnesota Wild in-arena announcer to host the assembly. The Wild will continue its tradition of donating a set of street hockey equipment to each participating school and will give each student a pack of Wild hockey cards, each card featuring a fitness or nutrition tip.
