MONTREAL -- The Laval Rocket punched their ticket to the AHL's Eastern Conference Finals with a 6-5 victory in triple overtime over the Rochester Americans at Blue Cross Arena.

The Rocket won their best-of-five North Division Finals series 3-0.
Jean-Sébastien Dea scored the game-winning goal on the power play at the 1:51 mark of the extra frame.

It was Jesse Ylönen who netted the equalizer on the man advantage with 67 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to OT.

Brandon Gignac, Danick Martel, Xavier Ouellet and Dea also lit the lamp during a four-goal outburst in a span of 3:56 during the second period.

Goaltender Cayden Primeau stopped 34 of 39 shots for Laval.
The Rocket will play the winner of the Atlantic Division Finals between the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Charlotte Checkers in the next round.
Springfield leads the series 2-0.
The Conference Finals and Calder Cup Finals are both best-of-seven series.
