The New York Islanders will be hosting Race to the Rink presented by and benefitting Easterseals NY supported by the Islanders Children's Foundation on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at UBS Arena.

Calling all walkers and runners! Individuals and groups of all ages and skill level are encouraged to participate in this annual event.

When: Sunday, April 7, 2024 (Registration: 7:30 a.m., Race Begins: 9 a.m.)

Easterseals NY

Easterseals New York provides programs and services to children and adults with disabilities and other special needs, and their families. Their goal is to help individuals with special needs gain dignity, equality and independence by providing the highest quality services in the most caring and cost-effective manner.   • The route follows a 5K course paved around UBS Arena. A turnaround location is available about halfway through the course.
  • Water stations are available to participants along the course.
  • Restrooms will be available inside of UBS Arena. 
  • Race participants are welcome to check out table vendors and additional entertainment supplied by the New York Islanders. Vendor area to include New York Islanders Community Events Tour and activities for all ages.

Your Islanders Race to the Rink 5K package includes:

  • T-shirt
  • Medal for all finishers
  • Commemorative Racing Bib

Pickup will be only day of event upon race registration.

  • Top fundraiser: Four (4) VIP tickets and parking to the New York Islanders last 2023-24 regular season home game.
  • Second place: Four (4) VIP tickets and parking to one (1) remaining 2023-24 regular season home game. Exclusions apply.
  • Third place: One (1) individual player-signed jersey.
