The New York Islanders are proud to recognize local military personnel who actively serve or have served our country. These heroes protect America and represent all citizens. At each New York Islanders home game this season the Islanders will honor and host an active military member or veteran as part of the Military Hero of the Game. Each military hero receives four (4) VIP tickets to the game and a special in-game recognition. In the event games are played without fans, heroes will be honored virtually and/or via Islanders social media.

Nominees must not have been a recipient of this honor before with the New York Islanders. Based on a first come, first serve basis.
