Street League | New York Islanders

Join us this fall for the New York Islanders Street League. This co-ed program gives children the opportunity to continue to advance their hockey skills in a game setting, while receiving valuable instruction from coaches. Through gameplay, participants will build a foundation of skills that will allow them to enjoy the game to the best of their abilities.

Fall play is set to begin the weekend of September 30 at the new, state of the art Dek Hockey rink at Northwell Health Ice Center.

Participants Receive

• One evaluation day with coaching instruction

• 10 weeks of gameplay

• One practice per week

• One (1) Islanders Street League jersey

• End of season awards for all participants

The First 100 Registrants Receive:

2 tickets to the 2023-24 Islanders Preseason game*
$20 Gas Card Courtesy of Shell
Signed photo or puck of a current Islanders player

*Preseason game to be chosen at the sole discretion of the New York Islanders

Equipment Needed

Full equipment is required to participate, including:

Gloves
Helmet with face shield
Shin guards
Elbow pads
Hockey stick
Athletic sneakers
Jersey provided

Cost

$250 per participant!

*If a game is cancelled by inclement weather, makeup dates will be attempted.

Game/League Structure

Three 12-minute periods
5-minute intermission
5-minute overtime period followed by shootout

Games will take place at Northwell Health Ice Center (outdoor dek rink)

League will consist of up to ten (10) teams per division.

Divisions

Mites (ages 7-9)
PeeWee (ages 10-12)
Bantam (ages 13-15)
