The New York Islanders added some forward depth on Tuesday afternoon,
acquiring Pierre Engvall from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a 2024 third round pick
.
The Ljungby, SWE, native was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the seventh round (188th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft - one of five seventh-round picks from that draft to play at least 139 NHL games and one of three to play at least 226.
