Floorball Program: Park Slope Collegiate

Islanders Floorball Update - Winter 1 UpdatePark Slope Collegiate, Tuesday, January 22, 2019
Park Slope Collegiate's 6th period class kicked off their first session of the Islanders Floorball unit today. Players began with the basic techniques of floorball including stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Class began with a stickhandling drill where students walked the ball through cones focusing on maintaining control and utilizing both sides of the blade. Next, the class progressed to stationary passing where students were challenged to not only make accurate passes to their partners, but also to receive the ball under control. The class wrapped with a fun drill where players got the chance to practice some best shooting techniques. Students are looking forward to improving their skill levels to compete in games soon!
