After an offseason overhaul, the Arizona Coyotes are still looking for their first win of the season.
Former captain Shane Doan, longtime goaltender Mike Smith, Head Coach Dave Tippett and Radim Vrbata are all out for Arizona. The Coyotes brought in Derek Stepan, goalie Antti Raanta, defenseman Nicklas Hjalmarsson and Head Coach Rick Tocchet.
Stepan has six points (2G, 4A) this season, Hjalmarsson has one assist and Raanta has been limited to three games because of a muscle strain.
Rookie Clayton Keller leads the Coyotes in goals (6) and points (8), while third-year forward Max Domi leads the team with six assists. Keller's six goals lead all rookies and are tied for fifth in the league. Keller is the former junior and collegiate teammate of Islanders prospect Kieffer Bellows.
Special teams have hurt the Coyotes this season, who rank in the bottom six in both power play (26th - 13.3%) and penalty kill (28th - 72.7%). After scoring a pair of power-play goals in their season opener, the Coyotes have gone 2-for-26 with the man advantage.
Louis Domingue will start in goal for the Coyotes on Tuesday.
