After returning home from a four-game road trip, the New York Islanders will face the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night at UBS Arena.
The Islanders went 2-2-0 on their four game trip, which ended with a 3-2 comeback win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night. Anthony Beauvillier scored in overtime to snap the Islanders' two-game losing streak after Josh Bailey tied the game late.
"Our group responded again in the third period," Head Coach Lane Lambert said, as the Islanders improved to 4-6-0 when trailing after two periods.

The Oilers lost to the New Jersey Devils 5-2 on Monday but defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in overtime on Saturday.
Per Eric Hornick, the Isles have gone 11-1-2 in their last 14 home games against the Oilers, including a 4-3 OT win on New Year's Day 2022. Overall, the Isles are 3-2-4 in their last nine games with the Oilers, including a 3-1 defeat in Alberta last January.
