The New York Islanders announced today that forward A.J. Greer has been acquired from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Kyle Burroughs.
Greer, 23, recorded 32 points (16 goals, 16 assists) in 47 games with the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. He ranked fifth on the team in goals and sixth in points, one year after finishing second on the Eagles with a career-high 44 points (19 goals, 25 assists) in 54 games in 2018-19.
