The New York Islanders have announced their 23-man roster for the start of the 2018-19 season. The club will carry 14 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders. The Islanders open the 2018-19 campaign on Thursday, Oct. 3 in Raleigh, NC against the Carolina Hurricanes and return to Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. vs. the Nashville Predators.
